The Dallas area is exploding with opportunities to reach out to multi-housing residents, which comprise a substantial portion of the metroplex population. Creative ministries to adults, youth and children are needed.
Barbara Trosper, Josie Olson and others, give of their time to share God's word with the children and their families at the "Shiloh Village Apartments". Pray for God's protection of this ministry, and that others will respond to this need. This ministry has been in operation for more than a decade

The Mission East Dallas Clinic is one way we seek to reach the lost of our community, and it has been uniquely effective in meeting both physical and spiritual needs. Please pray that this will continue. Also pray for other outreach efforts to evangelize our community through the MED center ministries. Lift up the staff of this clinic to know God's peace as they strive to share the love of Christ. |

This is a partnership ministry based in Dallas on Garland Road that provides basic
clothing, foodstuffs and financial assistance to those in
emergency situations. Wide variety of volunteer opportunities to
help staff the Center on a daily basis.
Over the years the Center has show the benefits of local
churches banding together to help meet some of the benevolence
needs of our communities. Shiloh's members provide countless
volunteer hours and thousands of dollars in financial support
annually to the Center.
Pray that the Lord will continue to use the center as a beacon
of Light to the lost and disadvantaged of East Dallas.
Thank him for the many faithful volunteers who support the
Center's outreach effort in the name of Jesus Christ. Is
he calling you to be involved? You can volunteer as little
or as much as you like. |

Opportunities for young persons (approximately college age) to receive hands-on training in church and missions ministry. Basic stipend provided for the summer months.
Shiloh has long provided a nurturing atmosphere for young people to receive hands-on ministry experience. We pray that God will give the interns a rewarding experience, as well as working through them to minister to those they work with. |

Missions Housing: |
|
|
|
The mission house provides housing for missionaries on furlough
or for those preparing for the mission field. We currently have
Maria Martin living in the house. She has just gotten back from
an assignment in the Sudan. She will be getting married soon and
her husband-to-be Justin Martin (no relation) has just gotten
back from China. The new couple will be living there
awaiting a new assignment, and this time they will be going
together. If you see them at Church, ask them how they met. |

New Works |
|
|
It is a statistical fact that new congregations are more
effective in reaching the lost than are more established
churches. It is a goal of the Missions Development Council to
partner in starting many new congregations to better reach the
lost of Dallas and surrounding communities.
Pray for wisdom for this team, as they lead in helping start new
churches.
Pray also for the leaders of these new missions, that they will
be enabled by God to carry the Gospel to those who need to hear.
Pray specifically for Mauro and Gislane Formaggini as they lead
the Hispanic work at Iglesia Bautista. Ask God to give them
strength and patience in the growing the congregation.
We praise God for having been a part of the support of Upendo
Baptist church and on the inauguration of their new worship
center. |
