We’re beyond proud of you and for you! You just made the single most important decision you could ever make. As your Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church family, we are celebrating right alongside you! You know salvation happens in a moment, but growing to be more like Jesus is a process. This process is called “sanctification” and in the same way that other relationships in your life take time and focus, the same can be said about your relationship with Jesus. We are here to walk with you as you begin your journey of following Jesus.

So in case you are asking yourself, “Where do I start?”

We at Shiloh Terrace are all about helping you follow Jesus. We want to help in any way we can so we prepared this resource as a launching point for your beginning steps with Jesus. We want to prompt you to follow each step on this journey:

Our hope and goal for this resource is to get to know Jesus and gain more confidence in trusting Jesus your first five days as a new member in the family of God. So we encourage you to grab a journal, write down your thoughts, prayers, and anything that stands out to you in these first five days. 

We believe that as you go about walking in God’s best plan, you will grow to be filled with more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self control. Trust me, you’ll look back on this day and be so glad you decided to follow Jesus. The following steps will help you be transformed in the newness of Christ in your life! You can do it, and we are here and near to help!
